TWENTY-HOUR ADVANCED CO-PARENTING MEDIATION TRAINING
This advanced mediation class is designed for the professional mediator looking to enhance their current skill set to tackle the more difficult concerns in co-parenting mediation. Current mediators seeking CEU or MCLE credits can use this course to fulfill continuing education requirements. This course curriculum is lecture and open discussion supplemented with more than 8 hours of interactive learning activities and role-plays. The following skills are addressed in the class:
- a. The training requirements listed in FLRP 602 & 603
- b. Blended families
- c. Children with special needs
- d. Grandparents as parents
- e. Cultural considerations
- f. Families with addictive behavior
Completion of this class will qualify participants with appropriate post-graduate credentials for consideration and placement on the Idaho State Supreme Court’s Child Custody Roster as per Idaho Rule of Family Law Procedure 602 & 603. Certified by the Idaho State Bar, MCLEs are pending for 2018.

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY: If a participant withdraws from the class with a valid reason, 15 days prior to the first class, a full refund will be issued. If a participant withdraws from the class 10 days prior to the class only 1/2 of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued if a participant withdraws from the class less than 7 days prior to the first class.
