The Role of Apology, Forgiveness, & Reconciliation in Advocacy & Mediation
This class will examine each of the themes of Apology, Forgiveness and Reconciliation. A spectrum of definitions and meanings of each theme will be explored. A variety of approaches
on how to implement each theme will be discussed. The material will be addressed from the context of governing our own lives, providing professional advice to another as an advocate,
and serving as a mediator. Class material will include religious and non-religious perspectives on these themes.
What you will learn:
- A variety of meanings and approaches to apology, forgiveness and reconciliation
- When and how an attorney may recommend that his or her client apologize or forgive
- Issues surrounding a mediator encouraging an apology or forgiveness

a $75 administration fee. There is no refund for
cancellations received less than seven days before the
start of the training. Substitutes allowed.
On-site registration and sign-ins are Monday, May 16
from 7:00 to 8 a.m.
FEES: $425.00 - Fees cover the cost of course materials,
continental breakfast and certificate of completion.
LODGING: Not included.
CREDIT: Approval for Idaho CLE credits pending.
